Homestead

This homestead was founded in 1799 by Tamošius Ramonas.

This is evident from the dated towel found in the farmhouse.

Four generations of Ramons grew up in this farmhouse.

We had the honour of meeting Tamoš's grandson and great-granddaughter and hearing stories about their family.

Every spring, more than 200 ancient apple trees bloom in our garden.

Like snow falling, petals give way to apples.

Which, after baking cakes in an ancient oven and pressing the juice in a local press, we put in cellars for the winter, the same ones used by the women who lived here before us.
